Body

The body tells a story of what is playing out in the mind.

Every thought has a physiological counterpart in the body, thus the body and mind are not separate. By creating a sense of awareness around how and when we began to experience symptoms in the body, we see that nature is always working for us.

Can you recall a time/ age you lived without discomfort?

Was this before you began to believe you needed to be a certain way in order to survive? When we put conditions on our right or ability to exist, we veer away from our true nature, and towards suffering and dis-ease.

What word would you use to describe the discomfort you feel in your body?

Create a list of all your describing words. Choose the 3 that resonate strongest, and see if you can identify any other areas of your life where these words apply.

(For example: restricting. I also feel restricted in my marriage and at my job…)

What was happening in your life leading up to this point?

Create a timeline of events leading up to the point of suffering. What was happening in your life, relationships, emotions, job, etc. leading up to the point where you started to notice your body calling for your attention?
